“Tesi 6 has improved in all areas” – Indiana Line Tesi 6 speaker review in AV-Online magazine

“We’ve barely got to know the Italian Indiana Line’s Tesi 661 loudspeaker, the largest in the family that has graced the company’s mid-range for years, and now the update has arrived, drawing heavily from the largest and also recently revamped Diva series, and then some. And the ideas taken from the better ones have so far almost invariably worked well.”

AV-Online magazine’s tester lists the changes and thinks they’ve really improved the sound:

Like the Tesi 661, the Tesi 6 played beautifully even at low volumes, and at room volume it was actually a complete joy to listen to. Compared to its predecessor, the lower range was somewhat more restrained but more precise, the midrange was clearer, looser and more tactful, and the treble section was certainly improved, even though the predecessor didn’t use a weak speaker.

The reviewer noted that the jazz genre is particularly well suited to the Tesi 6:

Jazz. This theme was a great fit for the speaker, whether instrumental or accompanied by vocals. In the latter, all the sensuality and subtlety came through, with only a little of the gloominess of the female voice missing, but it blended in better with the brilliant playing of the musicians.

Even in electronic music, she has created a very excellent piece:

We enhanced this with the evergreen songs of Prodigy, where there was no lack of vehemence, a very heavy atmosphere was created in the room, so it managed to convey to the wall of sound the essence of the music, and also its real depth and message.

Cue:

It made the sound sharper, looser, lighter and more accessible to more people, and now we could find more subtle details, better contours and more tactful emotions in addition to the grittiness. There was a clear, audible improvement over the previous Tesi 661, which slipped not far from Recommended Buy status. The Tesi 6, however, did not.
