Nota 250 X

The Indiana Line Nota 250 X loudspeaker is a back ported bass reflex model which helps to control the level of bass reproduction by keeping the appropriate distance from the wall, and also makes it easier to position the speaker set. Air coils and foil capacitors are used in the tweeter filter. The Indiana Line Nota 250 X loudspeaker will be an excellent choice for amplifying medium-sized rooms (up to 15 m2). It will work as well in a compact stereo system.

Indiana Line Nota 250 X

Indiana Line is one of the most important Italian brands offering loudspeakers on the audio market. With a tradition dating back to the 1980s, and more precisely to 1977. The goal of Indiana Line engineers and designers has always been the highest quality workmanship combined with rationally used components to achieve sonic qualities that go far beyond the parameters possible to achieve in this price range.

Nota and its timeless shapes

The timeless shapes of the Indiana Line Nota 250 X cabinet emphasize the craftsmanship of Italian design. The elegantly contoured side panels are finished with a durable and aesthetic vinyl coating. The Nota 250 X model is available in light walnut or black oak. The elements used in combination with technical solutions make the Nota 250 X not only a decoration of the interior, but at the same time it will surprise you with an engaging and exciting sound with exceptionally high dynamics for such a small loudspeaker.

Nota 250 X – a stylish bookshelf model

The Nota 250 X by Indiana Line is a relatively light and compact 2-way speaker with a 26 mm dome tweeter and a 135 mm mid-range driver. This speaker is an excellent choice for rooms of up to 15 m2, where you can place it, for example, on a cabinet or special stands. The bass reflex port, which in the Nota 250 X model is placed at the back, helps this loudspeaker to reproduce bass, which can be enhanced by placing it closer to the wall. The amplifier loading impedance of the Nota 250 X model is 4 – 8 ohms, and the power of the amplifier used to power it should be from 30 to 80 W. This speaker will work, for example, in an audio system intended for TV amplification (in combination with an appropriate amplifier) or in a classic stereo set.

Properly selected solutions and high-quality sound

The polypropylene cone of the woofer has a characteristic micro-groove that resembles the structure of a CD. Thanks to this, the speaker gently and warmly reproduces the sound of the midrange, and at the same time ensures a strong reproduction of bass. The tweeter dome in combination with a neodymium magnet and a radial rear chamber is located in a specially profiled front, which improves the dispersion of treble. It is worth emphasizing that the tweeter filter uses only air coils and foil capacitors, which makes the treble exceptionally clear and distinct.

100% polyester damping

All Indiana Line cabinets are filled with polyester – a synthetic non-woven fabric of high purity, known for its excellent damping of the internal resonances of the speaker cabinets. What's more, polyester is also extremely resistant to stretching, drying and moisture.

Air coils and film capacitors

In order to emphasize the exceptionally clear and natural sound of our loudspeakers, we decided to get rid of the troublesome components from the crossover where it was necessary – in the tweeter filter. In all loudspeaker models in which this filter is used, we use only air coils and foil capacitors. These elements do not introduce harmful distortions to the filtered signal, as is the case with ferrite core coils and electrolytic capacitors.

MDF housing with transverse reinforcements

Indiana Line loudspeakers cabinets are made of MDF panels. They are made using the latest production techniques, which ensures high precision of workmanship, great repeatability and excellent performance parameters for many years. MDF is a moisture-resistant material, it is massive and it suppresses all resonances very well. To completely remove unwanted vibrations, we used transverse reinforcements of the cabinet. They take the form of horizontal rings that are located at key points along the entire height of the loudspeaker cabinet.

Radialvent

A radial damping chamber that prevents harmful reflections under the tweeter dome while allowing it to achieve a low resonance frequency. The small, but at the same time strong magnet of the tweeter is surrounded by a space in which – due to its shape – standing waves cannot be generated, which is the case with classic radial chambers located in the axis of the dome.
