DJ 310

The Indiana Line DJ 310 is the larger of the DJ series models. It is a 3-way loudspeaker based on a 275 mm woofer, 135 mm midrange and 26 mm tweeter that provides crystal clear high frequencies. The solid structure weighs 14,1 kg and has a bass reflex cabinet with two ports at the front baffle. This ensures that the bass is processed at the appropriate level, regardless of where the speaker is placed in the room.

Indiana Line DJ 310

Indiana Line is a leading Italian brand in the audio industry, the origins of which date back to the 1970s, or more precisely 1977. Indiana Line now offers loudspeakers and installation speakers. The optimized production process combined with the rational use of components distinguishes this brand from the competition with an above-average quality of workmanship and sound.

Good, dynamic sound

The Indiana Line loudspeakers from the DJ series are efficient and energetic models that delight with their design referring to the 1980s. They have been, however, designed to play contemporary music – vigorous, and at the same time rich in sonic details and dynamically diversified. Just connect them to a properly chosen amplifier to get the best out of the – powerful and clear sound.

Unique components

The DJ 310 is a 3-way loudspeaker with a 275 mm woofer and a 135 mm midrange with a phase corrector. Thanks to the double bass-reflex tunnel, tremendous bass pressure is generated, with no audible noise or compression. What’s more, the tunnel ports are at the front baffle, which makes it easier to place them. This allows you to place the loudspeaker directly against the wall or in the corner of the room. The woofers and midrange drivers have injected polypropylene membranes and wide rubber springs that don’t restrict their long travel. The operation of the tweeter with a neodymium magnet, radial rear chamber, and a silk dome is supported by a waveguide, which guarantees proper polar dispersion and significantly increases the efficiency of the driver. A high-quality crossover ensures the correct interaction of individual components.

The power of sound under control

The Indiana Line DJ 310 is a loudspeaker with an amplifier loading impedance between 4 – 8 ohms. It is distinguished by high voltage sensitivity, which is 94 dB (2.83V / 1m). The power of the amplifier used to drive this loudspeaker should be in the range of 30 to 160 W. The DJ 310 with a lot of energy flowing from the 275 mm woofer ensures a strong and full sound, and at the same time an almost physical feeling of the bass. The midrange driver used in this model, in connection with the tweeter, allows you to fill even a large space with sound. The DJ 310 model is designed primarily for large rooms. It will be particularly useful for playing music, e.g., at dance schools or in the gyms. The DJ 310 loudspeakers are finished with an elegant and stylish black ash vinyl, which, combined with an old-school design, gives them a unique look.

100% polyester damping

All Indiana Line cabinets are filled with polyester – a synthetic non-woven fabric of high purity, known for its excellent damping of the internal resonances of the speaker cabinets. What's more, polyester is also extremely resistant to stretching, drying and moisture.

Air coils and film capacitors

In order to emphasize the exceptionally clear and natural sound of our loudspeakers, we decided to get rid of the troublesome components from the crossover where it was necessary – in the tweeter filter. In all loudspeaker models in which this filter is used, we use only air coils and foil capacitors. These elements do not introduce harmful distortions to the filtered signal, as is the case with ferrite core coils and electrolytic capacitors.

DomHorn

DomHorn is a specially shaped front of the tweeter, which appropriately directs the energy generated by the treble transducer, while increasing their efficiency. Thanks to this solution, the tweeter can play clearer and stronger, easily keeping pace with specialized midrange units and high-efficiency and large-diameter woofers, even with louder music reproduction in larger spaces.

MDF housing with transverse reinforcements

Indiana Line loudspeakers cabinets are made of MDF panels. They are made using the latest production techniques, which ensures high precision of workmanship, great repeatability and excellent performance parameters for many years. MDF is a moisture-resistant material, it is massive and it suppresses all resonances very well. To completely remove unwanted vibrations, we used transverse reinforcements of the cabinet. They take the form of horizontal rings that are located at key points along the entire height of the loudspeaker cabinet.

Radialvent

A radial damping chamber that prevents harmful reflections under the tweeter dome while allowing it to achieve a low resonance frequency. The small, but at the same time strong magnet of the tweeter is surrounded by a space in which – due to its shape – standing waves cannot be generated, which is the case with classic radial chambers located in the axis of the dome.
